Sunflower is an independent website and project, not a registered company or official organization. This page explains what cookies and browser storage this site uses, in the interest of transparency — it isn't a substitute for formal legal advice, and if Sunflower's functionality changes, this notice will be updated to match.
This site is a landing page. Its only interactive function is opening an app store link or download page when you click a button. Nothing else happens: no accounts, no forms, no data submitted by you to us.
Cookies are small text files a website can ask your browser to store, typically used to remember information between visits or to track activity across sites. This site doesn't use cookies in that sense at all — see the next section for exactly what it does store.

Google Analytics sends data to Google's servers in the United States. This transfer relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, the mechanism the EU and US agreed on after the 2020 Schrems II ruling invalidated the previous Privacy Shield agreement. Google is certified under this framework. We're noting this transparently because several EU data protection authorities have previously raised concerns about US-based analytics tools, and the legal landscape here has changed more than once — if you'd rather not have any data leave the EU, you can decline analytics cookies entirely above with no loss of functionality on this site.
Strictly necessary cookies are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and functioning — no consent is legally required. Analytics cookies are processed only on the basis of your freely given, specific, informed consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) and Art. 7); we do not rely on legitimate interest for analytics, since that isn't a valid legal basis for non-essential cookies.
Clicking a download button takes you to a page operated by Apple's App Store or Google Play (or another app distribution page). These are separate services with their own cookie and privacy practices, which we don't control:
If you're in the EU/EEA, the GDPR gives you rights over any personal data that is processed — including access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and objection. In practice, because this site doesn't collect personal data, there is nothing on file to request access to or deletion of. If you believe otherwise, or have any concern, you can also contact your local data protection authority (in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
You can clear the one stored note mentioned above at any time through your browser's site-data or privacy settings — searching "[your browser] clear site data" will show you how.
If this website ever adds analytics, accounts, or anything that processes personal data, this page will be rewritten to reflect that honestly, and the date above will change.
